Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using HireScreen, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use HireScreen. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the service indicates your acceptance of updated terms.
Description of Service
HireScreen is an AI detection tool designed to analyse CVs, cover letters, and assessment answers to identify whether they contain AI-generated content. The service:
- Provides text analysis and detailed reports on AI detection
- Offers sentence-level analysis showing human-written vs. AI-generated content
- Is available on a pay-as-you-go basis (Single plan) and through monthly subscriptions (Recruiter and Agency plans)
- Includes free daily checks and premium features depending on your plan
User Responsibilities
You agree to use HireScreen responsibly and lawfully. You must not:
- Submit content that is illegal, defamatory, or violates others' rights
- Attempt to circumvent security measures or access unauthorized parts of the service
- Abuse the service with excessive requests, automation, or attacks
- Use HireScreen for any purpose other than legitimate recruitment and hiring decisions
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction
Payment Terms
Payments: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing to a premium plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Refund Policy: If you wish to request a refund or cancel your subscription, please contact us at lars.janer@learnbase.com.br within 7 days of your payment. Refunds are issued at our discretion for eligible requests.
Subscription Auto-Renewal: Monthly subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting us.
Intellectual Property
Your Content: You retain all rights to content you submit to HireScreen. We do not claim ownership of your CVs, cover letters, or assessment answers.
Our Service: HireScreen, including its AI detection algorithm, reports, and design, is the intellectual property of LearnBase Ltd and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without permission.
Reports and Results: Analysis reports generated by HireScreen are provided for your use. You are responsible for how you use and share these reports.
Limitation of Liability
As-Is Service: HireScreen is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- 100% accuracy in AI detection results
- That the service will meet your specific requirements
No Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, LearnBase Ltd and HireScreen will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including lost profits or business opportunities.
Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for decisions made based on HireScreen results. We recommend using HireScreen as one of several tools in your hiring process, not as the sole determinant of hiring decisions.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to HireScreen if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or pose a risk to the service. Upon termination, you remain responsible for any outstanding charges. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from your use of HireScreen will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
